Aaron Balogh, Social Studies Teacher

Aaron is a Social Studies teacher at Mt. Scott High School who brings a passion for reading and writing and a commitment to developing literacy and critical thinking to his classroom.

Prior to his career as an educator, Aaron worked with homeless youth in Portland, which he considers "the greatest city on the planet" despite travels throughout Europe, Central America, and Africa. In addition to reading, Aaron has a deep love for music, film, cycling, snowboarding, cooking, and working with teenagers.

He holds a master's degree in Education and a bachelor's of arts degree in Sociology.
