Staff - High School
contact: jorzali@mtscottlearningcenters.org Joe began his teaching career as a science teacher and counselor at a special needs high school in Cambridge, MA. He has a Bachelor’s in Biology, and originally focused on molecular and developmental biology. Joe will complete a Masters in Environmental Management in the coming months and has a strong interest in sustainability, especially concerning energy usage and environmental justice. When Joe isn’t teaching he enjoys camping and hiking with his dog, basketball, soccer, biking, collecting music and attending concerts. Joe has a strong interest in involving students in their rapidly changing communities and has developed a partnership with a local non-profit, OPAL, to provide a broader view of the environmental, social, and economic issues affecting students and their families.
