Megan Barrett, Manager of Curriculum & Instruction

Megan Barrett has taught at Mt. Scott Learning Centers high school program for the past six years.  As a lead teacher, Megan has taught Language Arts as well as co-developing and teaching the Senior Transitions program. 

As Manager of Curriculum and Instruction, Megan works towards supporting our talented teaching staff and enhancing the excellent curriculum we provide our students.  Megan’s approach to curriculum and school design reflects a commitment to rigor and relevance as well as creating authentic learning experiences for our students.  She believes that learning should be challenging, inspire critical thinking, and prepare students for post-secondary success.

In addition to teaching, Megan enjoys cooking, reading, camping, gardening, snowboarding, and travel.  She holds a Master’s degree in Education and a Bachelor’s of Arts in English.
