"I noticed an almost immediate change when he began attending Mt. Scott Learning Centers' high school program. He no longer had the hours of homework, and began to relax. He raved about the small class sizes, the teacher involvement, and the feeling of community. He told me that he was actually looking forward to going to school in the morning. He has gotten involved in student activities that he would not have in his former school. In a short time, his grades have improved drastically. He plans to make up credits, graduate, and go on to college."

"I am a parent of a 9th grade student at Mt. Scott Learning Centers. Last year and the years prior, my son attended a (traditional) school, where he struggled getting good grades, passing only because his test scores showed he was at or above grade level. My son has Asperger's Syndrome, and can't function well in the (traditional) classroom setting. Mt. Scott provides small classes, consistency with structure, and the teachers are dedicated to helping each student. In doing so they have provided a learning environment my son has thrived in to his full potential.
"I am now a proud parent of a 9th grader with straight A's. So you can see that it is very important to my family, my son's education and future that Mt. Scott and its programs continue to grow and be funded."
- Tabitha Sather (parent of student at Mt. Scott's Freshman Academy)

"When our daughter was having a difficult time at the traditional high school, we knew she needed a smaller learning environment. She needed teachers that would and could take the time to establish a relationship with her. That is what we found at Mt. Scott Learning Centers.
The staff at Mt. Scott take a personal interest in each student. They show that they are invested in helping their students learn. Respect, creativity and enthusiasm are only a few words to describe what I see when Mt. Scott staff are teaching my student in class.
My husband and I believe our daughter will graduate high school because of the structure at Mt. Scott Learning Centers. We will always be grateful to have found this school and community."

"I am so happy with the Mt. Scott schools. My older daughter Felicia is a junior at the high school and my youngest daughter Allee is at the middle school. The curriculum and the staff at both schools have created a happy learning experience for my children and from the bottom of my heart I thank them.
"When we are happy we all put our best foot forward. Both my daughters have both feet forward at these schools. I am really excited to see what is going to happen in their future. I am glad to see that Mt. Scott and its staff is going to be a part of that."
- Debbie DeFrancisco (parent of Mt. Scott Middle School/High School students)

“Mt. Scott transformed our daughter. After years of struggling with the traditional school system, she looked forward to going to school every day at Mt. Scott and actually received good grades for a change. She learned what it meant to be successful in school, in every class. The teaching staff is superb and is chosen for their love and abiding interest in non-traditional learners. The dedication of the staff and their willingness to embrace kids who are a little different has resulted in a very happy high school graduate and even happier parents!”
- Ken and Anne Miller (parents of Mt. Scott High School graduate Julia Miller)

"Since enrolling at Mt. Scott three years ago, and thanks to the incredible support of the teachers and staff there, my son has been able to really turn a corner in his life. Sometimes, it only takes one music teacher to inspire a student to become a famous composer. Sometimes it takes only one math teacher to encourage a student to become a great doctor. More often though, it is an entire program of caring individuals making up a team that has the ability to change lives. That team is Mt. Scott Learning Centers."
